26.05.09For supporting the schoolchildren in a small Kongo village in Upper East region in Ghana, you can choose monthly payments (standing order) or one-time payment once a year. The necessary support for one child for one school year is 600 EEK (appr. 38 EUR).
600 EEK per year will cover the costs for one child to attend school: it covers the cost of uniform, sandals, schoolbag, pencils, workbooks, exam fees, schoolbooks (some schoolbooks are guaranteed by the government, some need to be bought by the family).
As the school year starts in the beginning of September it is important that we collect the donations by the end of July 2009. This will assist us in our planning and tranfer of funds to our partner organisation in Ghana before the start of the new school year.
